Prostate support group to meet
RUSSELL - Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital will host prostate support group meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on the fifth floor of Bellefonte Centre.
The group is free and refreshments will be provided. The group is facilitated by prostate cancer survivor Roger McClanahan.

Concert to aid Niemann patient
RACELAND - A benefit concert and food drive for Gabriel Isasiah Adkins will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Raceland City Park.
Adkins suffers from Niemann Pick Disease, an inherited metabolic disorder that is usually fatal. There is no treatment in the United States; proceeds will go toward travel expenses to Brazil, where treatment is available.
Scheduled to perform:

‰4 p.m. — Stephanie Blevins Cook
There will be pony rides, baked goods, a raffle and food for purchase by Zay Zay’s Hot Dogs. Western and Southern will do children’s fingerprinting.
A canned food drive is planned. Those who bring two cans of food will receive a free hot dog. Donations also will be accepted and may be dropped off at the park during the event.
OLBH Gift Shop sets open house
RUSSELL - The Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital Gift Shop will host a Christmas Open House from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 15.
All items during the event will be 20 percent off with the exception of magazines, flowers, candy and sundries. The shop is operated by the OLBH Auxiliary. Proceeds go toward special programs, equipment and services at OLBH.
