Church to give away clothing
ASHLAND - Westwood Church of God at 349 McKnight St. will have a clothing giveaway from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Clothing for infants to adults will be available.

Art and wine focus of event
ASHLAND - A new arts event will be offered this weekend at the Pendleton Art Center at 1537 Winchester Ave.
Creative Spirits Paint and Partake will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, during which time participants may create a 16-by-20 acrylic painting while sipping wine or another beverage. Instructors will be Melaine Osborne and Denise Spaulding.
Registration is required, as the class will be limited to 24. Cost is $40, which includes all art supplies; participants are asked to bring their own beverage.

Festival to showcase new plays
The ACTC New Play Festival will feature 10 student and faculty written plays (short scenes, monologues, ten-minutes, one acts) that will premiere at 8 p.m. April 25 and 26 and at 2:30 p.m. April 27 at J.B. Sowards Theater on campus.
