WURTLAND - Chinns Branch Baptist Church will have a hot dog and rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the church on Ky. 693.
Clothing, knickknacks and other items will be for sale.

Sensitive Bunny offered Sunday
ASHLAND - A Sensitive Bunny photo event is scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the Ashland Town Center.
The event caters to children on the autism spectrum. The Bunny Garden will be sensory friendly, with lights and music turned down and staff instructed to avoid loud, distracting movements. The mall will be closed to shoppers during these hours. Each family will receive a free 4-by-6 photo.
Model train, toy show upcoming
INSTITUTE, W.Va. - The ninth annual Collis P. Huntington Model Train and Toy Show will be Friday through Sunday at West Virginia State University.
Hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for ages 3 through 12.
The show, sponsored by the Collis P. Huntington Model Railroad Club, the Central West Virginia Convention and Business Bureau, Suddenlink and M&G Polymers, will include model trains, working layouts, railroadania, collectibles, books, historical displays, Thomas items and a hands-on Geo Trax.
A portion of the proceeds will go to CPH Children’s Charities.

Auditions near for Road to Fame
ASHLAND - A Road to Fame Talent Search audition opportunity will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fannin Family Auto Dealership.
Other auditions will be:
‰Sunday, 2 p.m. — Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, Prestonsburg.
‰April 12, 11 a.m. — Hilton Garden Inn, Pikeville.
‰April 13, 3 p.m. — Hampton Inn, Hazard.
Those auditioning should bring identification and a $25 audition fee.

Benefit 5K in Greenup Sunday
GREENUP - The Benji McDowell Memorial First Responders 5K will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Greenup Community Park.
Onsite registration will be at 1 p.m. The cost is $15 for preregistration or $20 the day of the race; preregistered groups of eight or more may register for $12 each.
Trophies will go to the first two overall male and female finishers; awards will go to the first three finishers in each male and female group.
Proceeds will help families of fallen first responders.
