Morehead State University’s theater students will present “Evil Dead: The Musical” today thorugh Sunday in the Lucille Caudill Little Theatre in Breckinridge Hall.
In “Evil Dead: The Musical,” five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them into demons. It’s all up to Ash (a housewares employee-turned demon killing hero) and his chainsaw to save the day.
Performing cast includes Nate C. Merritt, Clearfield, Ed; Alesha Trapp, Cynthiana, Fake Shemp; Megan Hawley, Shelbyville, Annie; Rhonda Alley, Warfield, Cheryl; Kelsey Bond, Cincinnati, Shemp; Caroline Clay, Greenup, Linda; John Siedenberg II, Williamstown, Ash; Drake Gillespie, Mount Sterling, Jake; Samuel Perkins, Russell, Moose/Fake Shemp; Will Borich, Burlington, Scott; Kelsey Flannery, Falmouth, Shelly; Erin McMillen, Dana, stage manager; and James Sparks, Greenup, musical director.
The show is at 7:30 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, children, and non-MSU students, and free for MSU students with a valid ID.
The production contains adult language and situations, which are not appropriate for children.
