Alcorn-McKenzie
Edd and Kim Alcorn of Berea announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsay Kaye, to Philip Matthew McKenzie, son of Philip T. and Carolyn McKenzie of Castalian Springs, Tenn.
The wedding will be Sept. 12, 2009, at the Berea Baptist Church.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Madison Southern High School in Berea and a 2007 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. She is a wedding consultant in Lexington.
The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Gallatin High School in Gallatin, Tenn., and attended East Tennessee State University. He is a sergeant in the 1st squadron/278th regiment of the Tennessee National Guard.
Paternal grandparents are Nancy McKenzie of Ashland and the late Theodore McKenzie.
Maternal grandparents are Warren and Roberta Kemper of Ashland and Kathy C. Boggs of Louisa and the late Bobby E. Boggs.
