Swimm-Brown

Melissa Swimm and Brandon Brown have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lisa Swimm of Catlettsburg.

The groom-elect is the son of Mike and Karen Brown of Flatwoods.

She is a 1999 graduate of Boyd County High School and a 2007 graduate of Kentucky Christian University, where she received a degree in counseling psychology and Biblical studies. She is employed at Necco Foster Care Agency as a case manager.

He is a 2003 graduate of Russell High School and a 2007 graduate of Asbury College, where he received a degree in business management. He is employed at Ashland Community and Technical College as a financial aid specialist.

A November wedding is planned.
