Elliott-Kuyper
Mr. and Mrs. John Duvall Elliott of Pikeville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Martha Alexandra, to be married to Mark Alan Kuyper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Dean Kuyper of Ashland.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Pikeville High School and a 2006 graduate of Georgetown College where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education at the University of the Cumberlands.
The groom-elect is a 1996 graduate of Boyd County High School and a 2000 graduate of Georgetown College where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is employed by the Kentucky Department of Social Security.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David N. Huff of Corbin, Mrs. Minnie Sue Elliott, the late William Ernest Elliott Jr. and Mrs. Lillian Pearl Elliott, all of Pikeville. The groom is the grandson of the late Christine Rice and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kuyper.
The wedding has been planned for June 20, 2009, in Lexington.
