GRAYSON GALLERY and ART CENTER

‰Nov. 30, 6 to 9 p.m. — Opening reception, free to all participating artists and the public, with an awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Live music featuring guitarists, Mark Fosson and Daniel Bachmann with refreshments by Catering By Laura. 

Final Friday Art and Antiques Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. on the last Friday of the month.

The gallery is available for special showings by appointment.

The gallery is in the former Grayson Fire Station at Carole Malone Boulevard and Third Street and is seeking volunteers for all programs and operations (artists and advocates). ‰Nov. 29, 6 to 8 p.m. — Opening night for “Holidays at the Highlands.” $15 per person; $25 for family of four; $5 for children 12 and under. Activities for the evening include gingerbread house display, stained glass display, holiday music, picutres with Santa and light refreshments.

‰Dec. 1 and 2 — “The Ladies of Highlands Christmas Tour of Homes.” Tickets $20 in advance, and $25 the day of the event.

‰Dec. 8 and 15, 1 to 3 p.m. — Holiday cookie decorating class. $10 per person. Call the museum for reservation.

‰Dec. 8, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Pictures with Santa.

‰Dec. 8, 12:30 to 1 p.m. — Performance by the International Folklanders.
