The gallery has a new fall fashion show of autumn themed art. This includes abstracts, watercolor and photography.

Unless otherwise noted, classes are taught at the gallery at the old high school, ground floor.

The gallery is open noon to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday; 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Studio hours are  10 a.m. to noon, Monday; 1 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday; and 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday.

‰The Anna Louise Stanton Doll Collection offers 18th, 19th and very early 20th century beauties in bisque, china, papier mache and tin.

‰Art of the Ancients: The Ohio Valley is a stunning collection of 10,000 ancient objects. Ranging in age from 1500 to 8,000 years old.

‰The Clarence Carter Collection is the largest single collection of American Scene paintings created by the important 20th century American artist born in Portsmouth in 1904.

‰The Carl Ackerman Collection of Historic Photographs. More than 10,000 historic local photographs archived at the museum.
