‰Seventh annual photography show in the Thoroughbred Agency office at 1430 Winchester Avenue, Ashland. Tradition black and white photography show. Receiving Aug. 27 through 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 :30 p.m. Closed jury date is Sept. 1. Opening reception during First Friday, 6 to 9 p.m. with awards at 7 p.m.
July’s featured artists are Michal Perrine Adams and Rob Caines. Michal paints in watercolors and Rob displays all of his wood creations for your home.
Thursdays, noon to 3 p.m. — Watercolor classes for beginners and intermediate painters. Call ahead to join. First class is free. Barbara Delligatti, instructor. Cost is $20.
August’s featured artist will be Derek Holston of Greenup with his multi media; live violin music by Ann Adkins of Ashland.
Gallery and framing hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and by appointment.
The Upstairs Gallery has new art and gifts available from its 25 Tri-State artists.
