Jesse Stuart Foundation preserves the human and literary legacy of Jesse Stuart and other Kentucky and Appalachian writers.
‰The JSF Regional Readers will meet at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday to discuss “Timmy and Susie and the Bootleggers’ Revenge” by Tim Callahan.
‰What’s New at the JSF? “A Guest on Earth: The Life and Poetry of Joy Bale Boone, Kentucky Poet Laureate 1997-1999” by Loretta Martin Murrey. The hardback edition is available for $30 and the softback for $25.
‰The Jesse Stuart Room features Stuart memorabilia, rare books and collectible items.
‰The Leming Art Gallery features works by area artists and photographs by William “Pictureman” Mullins.
