‰Through Nov. 20 — “New Country: Contemporary Depictions of Ruralism.”  Opening reception Wednesday, 5 to 7 p.m.


‰Oct. 31, 6 to 9 p.m. — Annual Halloween costume contest and “Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

‰Through Sunday — "Paint Brush Studio" works by artist Gerry Enrico and his students.

‰Nov. 2 through 25 — Textile art of Sue King.

‰Nov. 30 through Dec. 22 —  Christmas show.


‰Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m. — “Boo-To-You,” a French Art Colony Halloween! Costumes are encouraged, but not required. $5 per person

‰Nov. 3, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. — “Night in Creepenstein Manor.” A youth lock-in, monster party! 12 hours of supervised activities. $30 per youth.  Advance registration required by Nov. 1.

‰Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 —  Annual holiday tour.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

‰Friday, 6 to 9 p.m. — Final Friday will be a Halloween open house with a seasonal theme, scary music and refreshements. Free.

‰Saturday, 7:13 p.m. to midnight — Fundraiser, “Ghosts in the Ghoulery!” Dance music, refreshements, costume contest and karaoke. Must be 21. $15 per person or $25 per couple.

‰Nov. 2, 6 to 9 p.m. — Second annual Carter County Schools student exhibit in collaboration with the Carter County Drug Free Coalition featuring select student works and an awards ceremony, live music and refreshments.

‰Nov. 17 and 19, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Receiving submissions of up to 3 pieces per artist for the second annual Heart of the Parks Juried Art Competition. $15 entry fee. Juror Nathan Zamarron, Community Arts Manager for LexArts will choose accepted works and awards. 

‰Nov. 30, 6 to 9 p.m. — Opening reception, free to all participating artists and the public, with an awards ceremony at 7:30. Live music featuring guitarists, Mark Fosson and Daniel Bachmann with refreshments by Catering By Laura. 

Final Friday Art and Antiques Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. on the last Friday of the month.

The gallery is available for special showings by appointment.

The gallery is in the former Grayson Fire Station at Carole Malone Boulevard and Third Street and is seeking volunteers for all programs and operations (artists and advocates).
