ARTS AND HUMANITIES

Through Dec. 31 — Opening reception will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Folk Art, Rough Road-The Kentucky Documentary Photography Project. Photos were taken in 1975 by, Ted Wathen, Bob Hower and Bill Burke.

OHIO UNIVERSITY

ART GALLERY

Through Nov. 1 — State of the Arts. Art Exhibition of high school artist educators. 30 works by 15 artist. Free and open to the public.

The Gallery is located at 536 Seigfred Hall in Athens, Ohio. PAINTED COW GALLERY

Gallery hours are 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Gallery features a series of paintings called “Memories of Old Lawrence County” and works by artists who live in Lawrence County.

Studio home for the Lawrence County Arts Council, 103 S. Main Cross St., Louisa (across the street from the Lawrence County Courthouse).
