KENTUCKY MUSEUM OF ART AND CRAFT

‰Monday through Aug. 11, 9 a.m. — Kids Art Camp begins. K-2nd grade. Register online. Check website or call for specific days of the week.

‰June 16, 1 to 3 p.m. — Wooden boats and floats. Family workshop. For parents and children age 4 and older. $28 for members, $33 for nonmembers.

‰July 23 through 27, 9:15 a.m. — Blackacre Art Camp begins. Grades 6 through 8. Register online.

‰Through July 1 — “50 Years of Studio Glass.”

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is free for members; $6 for adults; $5 for seniors and military members. Family admission is (two adults and all children) $12. Children younger than 12 and students with ID are admitted free.

L STYLE

Potters’ Loft

New classes starting Monday and Tuesday: A eight-week, wheel-thrown pottery class will be either Mondays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. or Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the upstairs of the L Style Salon’s Potter's Loft, 1516 Winchester Ave., Ashland. PAINTED COW GALLERY

The gallery will celebrate spring and summer with new and exciting original artwork from local artists in a wide variety of styles, colors and sizes, in time for gift giving Father’s Day and graduations.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Each Tuesday, the gallery turns into a studio home for an assortment of artists to work on their artwork. Watercolor instructions are also offered by appointment each Tuesday. Call Maureen for prices and times.
