Potters’ Loft

New classes starting Monday and Tuesday: A eight-week, wheel-thrown pottery class will be either Mondays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. or Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the upstairs of the L Style Salon’s Potter's Loft, 1516 Winchester Ave., Ashland. PAINTED COW GALLERY

The gallery will celebrate spring and summer with new and exciting original artwork from local artists in a wide variety of styles, colors and sizes, in time for gift giving Father’s Day and graduations.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Each Tuesday, the gallery turns into a studio home for an assortment of artists to work on their artwork. Watercolor instructions are also offered by appointment each Tuesday.

Studio home for the Lawrence County Arts Council, 103 S. Main Cross St., Louisa (across the street from the Lawrence County Courthouse).

THE PENDLETON

ART CENTER

The Pendleton Art Center at 1537-1539 Winchester Ave., Ashland, houses the working and retail sale studios of the Tri-State's premier artists with a wide range of talents. Pendleton Studios are open on the first Friday of the month from 5 to 9 p.m. for the First Friday Art Walk in downtown Ashland and the next day for Second Look Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some studios are open daily; some are open by appointment with the artist. Contact information for artists is available in the lobby.

‰Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Second Look Saturday.
