Jesse Stuart Foundation preserves the human and literary legacy of Jesse Stuart and other Kentucky and Appalachian writers.
‰The JSF Regional Readers book group meets Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 5:45 p.m. to discuss “Men of Valor: Combat Stories of WWII Veterans from Southern Ohio and Eastern Kentucky” by G. Sam Piatt. The author will discuss his book at the meeting. The book group is meeting a week earlier than usual due to Trick or Treating in the city of Ashland next week. ‰The Jesse Stuart Room features Stuart memorabilia, rare books and collectible items.
‰The Leming Art Gallery features works by area artists and photographs by William “Pictureman” Mullins.
