During June, KMAC will highlight artist Kathleen O’Brien, who uses watercolors, pencils, botanicals, mica, copper leaves and ink on handmade paper to make three-dimensional mixed media collages.

‰June 25 through 29 — KidArt Camp. Morning session (9 a.m. to noon). Grades K through 2. Afternoon session (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) – Fiber Focus. Grades 1 through 6.

‰July 9 through 13 — KidArt Camp. Morning session (9 a.m. to noon) . Grades 3 through 5. Afternoon session (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) – Printmaking and Graphic Arts Focus. Grades 1 through 6.

‰July 23 through 27, 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. — BlackAcre Art Week.

‰July 30 through Aug. 3 — KidArt Camp. Morning session (9 a.m. to noon) . Grades 3 through 5. Afternoon session (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) – Clay Focus . Grades 1 through 6.

‰Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m. — Wooden boats and floats. Family workshop. For parents and children 4 and older. $28 for members, $33 for nonmembers.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is free for members; $6 for adults; $5 for seniors and military members. Family admission is (two adults and all children) $12. Children younger than 12 and students with ID are admitted free.

Potters’ Loft

New classes starting Monday and Tuesday: A eight-week, wheel-thrown pottery class will be either Mondays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. or Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the upstairs of the L Style Salon’s Potter's Loft, 1516 Winchester Ave., Ashland.
