‰Sept. 28, 6 to 9 p.m. — Opening reception for “Art Cars/Car Art Show.” Live music by Carrier and refreshments will be served. Free.


‰The gallery will have a new exhibit, in partnership with the Cruisin' Grayson Car Show, for F!nal Fr!day!

In addition to art this month, cars and other vehicles that are custom painted, decorated will be shown and showcased inside and outside the gallery. Vintage car items and related mechanical and service station collectibles will be on display.

Artists 18 and older may submit original works of art in any media with car-themed or other vehicle-related themes. Work will be received Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Art currently on display from August may be picked up during these dates and times.

‰Through summer — Partnering with the Cruisin’ Grayson Car Show and featuring collectible, vintage and various show cars nearby.

‰Oct. 3, 5:30 p.m. — Grayson native Dawn McGuire M.D. will read from her new collection, “The Aphasia Café.” The gallery is available for special showings by appointment.

The gallery is in the former Grayson Fire Station at Carole Malone Boulevard and Third Street and is seeking volunteers for all programs and operations (artists and advocates).
