Joseph Melvin and Sasha Blair of Argillite announce the birth of a son, Joseph Blaine Melvin.
He was born Dec. 4, 2008, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long.
He was welcomed home by a sister, Karlie Jo.
Paternal grandparents are Tim and Kim Melvin of Greenup and Rita Prichard of Argillite. Paternal great-grandparents are Joe Ray Melvin of Greenup and Geneva Prichard of Boyd County.
Maternal grandparents are Wayne and Becky Renn of Raceland and Chris Blair of Ashland. Maternal great-grandparents are Richard and Sandy Blair of Flatwoods and Rip and Anna Cales of Greenup.
