Scott and Jerelyn Grant of Ashland announce the birth of a daughter, Zoe Ellene Grant. She was born Feb. 16, 2008, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are James and Helen Lowe of Brunswick, Ga.

Paternal grandparents are Mark and Gwin Grant of Ashland. Paternal great-grandparents are Clarence and Mabel Thompson of Ashland.
