Fusion, a musical event featuring local and regional hip hop artists, is scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday at the Ashland Armory.
Doors will open at 8 p.m.; the show will start at 9 p.m. with a DJ playing current songs and taking requests from the audience, agent Greg Johnson said.
Johnson is the manager and agent for two of the performers on tap for the show — YG and BeeZy of Plus Squad Records. Also performing will be G.M.B., a local independent hip hop recording group.
Plus Squad Records was founded by YG five years ago after he moved to Ashland. YG has since performed with platinum record selling artists. He later met beat producer BeeZy and began a collaboration with him.
The show will continue until 11 p.m. Ticket prices will be $5 in advance or $10 at the door.
