ASHLAND — Wes and Norma Euton of 36 Kingsway Drive in South Shore are celebrating their 50th anniversary.

The Eutons were married Dec. 1, 1962, in South Portsmouth by the Rev. Darrell Stephenson. Mrs. Euton is the former Norma Coleman, daughter of the late John and Christine Coleman of Portsmouth. Mr. Euton is the son of the late Charles and Louise Euton of South Portsmouth.

Mr. Euton is retired from N.A.R.CO. of South Shore and is still owner/operator of Wes' TV of South Shore. Mrs. Euton worked several jobs, including owner/operator of Norma's Flower shop, but was mostly a stay-at-home mom.

The couple are members of The Lloyd Church of the Nazarene in Lloyd and are the parents of one son and two daughters — Mr. and Mrs. Clay Euton of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Greg (Angela Sue) Logan of Lloyd and Ms. Michelle Euton of South Shore.

They have eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Arbaugh, Colten and Hailey, all of Columbus; Dakotah Euton of Richmond; Tiffany, Billy and Angel Logan of Lloyd; and Meriah, Savannah and Tanner Euton of South Shore.

Mr. and Mrs. Euton will be honored at an open house reception from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the Lloyd Church of the Nazarene on Rt. 23. Invitations to the reception are being issued through the press.
