— James and Dorothy Brown Burke of Bellefonte will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 5.
They were married Dec. 5, 1947, in Greenup by the Rev. Everett Legg.
He retired from Armco Steel after 41 years of service.
He is the son of the late Natheniel and Mamie Morris Burke.
She is the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Charles Brown.
They are the parents of the late Pamela Burke Kamp and two grandchildren.
They are both members of Shawnee Church of God in Flatwoods.
A reception will be on Dec. 1, 2007, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the church on Beth Ann Drive, hosted by Barbara Jean Nickell and Brenda Campbell, nieces; and friend, Jean Geyer.
All friends and relatives are invited. No gifts please. Cards will be appreciated.
