Keffer

Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Keffer were married on Sept. 19, 1947, at First Church of God on Carter Avenue by the Rev. Herschel Rice.

She is the daughter of the late Bernard E. and Grace H. Manning.

He is the son of the late Robert H. and Minnie S. Keffer. He retired in 1989 after 42 years of service at CSX Railroad.

They are both members of First Church of God.

They are the parents of three daughters, Karen Keffer and Kim Keffer, both of Ashland and Linda Hannon of Ironton and they have three grandsons, Christopher and Lucas Hannon of Ironton and Zachary Keffer of Ashland.

There will be a celebration at a later date.
