Aldrich

Wilbert and Sandra Aldrich will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 30, 2008, at 4 p.m. with a mass at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church in Sloan, N.Y. A reception will immediately follow at the St. Andrew’s School hall, hosted by their children.

The couple were married on Aug. 30, 1958, at St. James Church in Depew, N.Y.

She is the former Sandra Mapes. She was executive director of the Ashland Community Kitchen for 14 years.

He is retired as a machinist from Ashland Petroleum.

They are both active in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Ashland and they enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

They are the parents of Dawn Aldrich of Sloan, Penny Stevens of Cheektowaga, N.Y., Wilbert III and Lynn Aldrich of Dunkirk, N.Y., Roy and Kristin Aldrich of Columbus and Joseph and Heather Aldrich of Flatwoods. They have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
