Ratliff
Harold Eugene and Jean Rose Ratliff will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 28, 2008.
They were married on Aug. 28, 1948, at the United Brethren Church in Ironton.
She was the former Jean Rose Hall and is a retired minister from the Church of the Nazarene.
He is retired from C&O Railroad and served during World War II in the U.S. Navy.
They both serve as volunteer missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene and have served in Belize, Spain, Africa, Mexico, Venezuela, Guatemala and several other countries. Their “adopted” country is Belize.
They are still active at Faith United Church of the Nazarene in Ironton, where he serves on the church board and she is an associate pastor.
They are the parents of Harold Eugene Ratliff Jr. of Swanton, Ohio, Veronica Nunley of Flatwoods and Frank Edward Ratliff of Jacksonville, Fla.. They have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
