Baker

Jack and Ruth Hollan Baker of 3827 Blackburn Ave., Ashland, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 3 through 5 at Lake Cumberland State Resort in Jamestown, Ky. at a family reunion.

There were 63 in attendance.

They were wed Aug. 3, 1947.

Jack is a retired machinist at Armco (now AK Steel) where he worked 40 years. He is a Navy veteran and a son of the late Lunda and Nellie Baker.

Ruth retired from real estate after 30 years in Ashland. She is the daughter of the late Colson Hollan and Eula Utterback Hollan.

They are the parents of Garry (Missi) Baker of Russell, Tim (Patti) Baker of Ashland and the late Kevin Baker.

They have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
