— Franklin and Rebecca Romans celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 4, 2007, with a reception at Rush Baptist Chapel fellowship hall hosted by family.
They were wed Aug. 4, 1957, at Rush Baptist Chapel.
Mr. Romans is a retired, self-employed mechanic and likes working on cars. Mrs. Romans is retired from Ashland Wal-Mart and enjoys reading.
They are members of Rush Baptist Chapel.
They are the parents of Ernest Romans and his wife, Sharanna, of Rush, Charles Romans and his wife, Kimberly, of Load, Sheila Rice and her husband, August Jr., of Rush and Angela Baldwin and her husband, Timothy, of Rush.
They have six grandchildren, Kathleen Romans of Rush, Jason Rice of Ashland, Amanda Thomas of Rush, Samantha Romans of Load, Sarah and Hannah Baldwin; and one great-grandchild, Cody Thomas of Rush.
