— Dave and Anne Williams of 1140 Poplar Ave., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at a later date.
They were wed Aug. 2, 1947, at Big Spring Presbyterian Church in Texas.
Mr. Williams is the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. D.C. Williams, formerly of Post, Texas.
He was employed with Ashland Oil and is a World War II Air Force veteran, where he served as a lieutenant.
Mrs. Williams is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Reid, formerly of Coahoma, Texas.
They are the parents of Lynn Williams Hall of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Marty Williams Suday of Columbus, Ohio.
They have eight grandchildren.
