Vaughn

Kenneth and Bonnie Studebaker Vaughn celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Aug. 5 at the Sunday morning service at Beech Street Christian Church by family and friends and by a small family gathering at Ashland Plaza Restaurant.

They were married Aug. 5, 1967, at Perry Christian Church in Canton, Ohio by Sherrill E. Story Sr., minister.

The couple have lived in the area for 19 years. Mr. Vaughn has been a minister for 40 years and pastor at Beech Street Christian Church for almost 19 years.

Mrs. Vaughn was an administrative assistant for United Way for many years and has worked for attorneys Donald L. Frailie and Paul S. Snyder for the past eight years.

They are members of Beech Street Christian Church where they are active in the ladies and men’s groups at the church. He is a member of KYOVA Ministerial Association. She plays organ and helps with the youth programs.

Mr. Vaughn is the son of the late Houston and Jenny Lou Vaughn of Water Valley, Miss.

Mrs. Vaughn is the daughter of Harry and Martha Studebaker of Massillon, Ohio.

They both know and love the Lord and enjoy spending time with their family and especially the grandchildren as well as their church family. He enjoys working in the yard and gardening and she enjoys traveling on day trips when they can.

They are the parents of Jeannie (Tom) Stafford and Rhonda Phillips, both of Ashland and Kendra (David) Lewallen of Georgetown.

They have five grandchildren.
