Edwards
Mr. and Mrs. Homer E. Edwards of 1410 Bellefonte Road, Flatwoods, will observed their 68th wedding anniversary with a dinner at Melini’s in Ironton hosted by their children.
They were wed July 21, 1939, at First Baptist Church in Ironton.
Mr. Edwards is retired from C&O Railroad and was employed at Bellefonte Country Club for 11 years.
Mrs. Edwards is a member of Forest Rose Lodge in Russell.
They are members of Greenup Presbyterian Church.
They have five children, Mrs. Sandy (Charles) Bevans of South Point, Ohio, Mrs. Brenda (Douglas) Calhoun of Russell, Ky., Ms. Cheri Duerk of Flatwoods, Mr. Tracy (Julie) Edwards of Ashland and the Rev. Jack E. Edwards of Greenup.
They have 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
