Daniels
Bishop James R. Daniels and Donna Evans Daniels of Wurtland will celebrate their 50th anniversary Aug. 1, 2007.
Mr. Daniels is the son of the late William M. and Doshie Lee Wright Daniels. He graduated from Ashland High School and attended Bible schools. He worked at Eagle Store, Second National Bank and Paul Coffeey Construction Co., and has served 46 years in ministry with 24 years as pastor — 13 years in Ohio and 11 years in Raceland.
Mrs. Daniels is the daughter of Edward and Mariah Adams Evans. She graduated from Raceland High School and attended several Bible seminars.
The Daniels’ have one son, Curtis W. and his wife, Teresa Burchwell Daniels, who live in Bowling Green and pastor The Church of God of Prophecy. There will be an open house July 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, 121 Hillview Drive, in Raceland. Everyone is welcome.
