— Charles E. and Clara Lee Stewart will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 24.
The couple were married on June 24, 1949, at the Pollard Baptist Church, officiated by Donald Wells.
She is a housewife.
He was a pastor at Leach Station for 31/2 years, Grace Baptist Church in Ceredo for 61/2 years, Rose Hill Baptist Church for 30 years and is currently a pastor at Hyland Heights Baptist Church. He was employed by the Kentucky and West Virginia Gas Company for 37 years. He is the son of the late Thurman Stewart and Pauline Stewart.
They are the parents of Joy Huff, Nancy Cantrell, Daniel Stewart and Reva Lavender. They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
