— Jolly and Betsy Hicks of Catlettsburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 31 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Sandy City Freewill Baptist Church on Center Street in Catlettsburg.
They were married May 29, 1958, at the home of the bride on Watkins Street in Catlettsburg by the Rev. C.C. Welsh.
He is the son of the late Rev. John and Minnie Hicks. He is retired from Aristech in Kenova.
She is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marcella Russell.
They are the parents of three children, J.J., Russell and Paul, all of Catlettsburg; and they have six grandchildren.
