Harry and Debbie Hieneman celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary from Dec. 3 through 11, 2007. They were married Dec. 23, 1967, in Liberty, Ind., at the Liberty Baptist Church by the Rev. Howard Martin.
He is a retired dairy farmer.
She is the former Debbie Buckler and is a deputy clerk at the county clerk’s office.
They are members of the Wurtland First Church of the Nazarene.
They enjoy traveling, gardening and playing with the grandkids.
They are the parents of Roxane Gross and her husband, Scott, of Ashland, and Dr. Scott Hieneman and his wife, Stacy, of Cannonsburg, Mich. They have three grandchildren, Gunnar, 6; Cadee, 18 months; and Fletcher, 2.
The couple fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting the Hawaiian Islands. They enjoyed the beautiful sights and activities of the warm, tropical paradise. Their oceanfront resort was located in Kona, in the heart of coffee bean growing country of Hawaii. Perfect for these coffee lovers. Being gardening enthusiasts, they loved admiring all the beautiful tropical flowers that bloom year round.
