Goins starts music festival
1st Missing Link Bluegrass Festival Aug. 1, 2

GREENUP —
The first Missing Link Bluegrass Festival is set for Aug. 1 and 2 at the Greenup County Fairgrounds.
Presented by Melvin Goins, the festival’s schedule includes Ralph Stanley II, James King Band, Goins and his band, Ernie Thacker, Hart Brothers, Bo Isaac and Stoney Creek. Other acts are expected to be added.
Camping is available and some electrical hookups are available; those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Gospel singing also planned.
Among the vendors expected is Andy’s Barbecue on Ky. 5.
Admission is: Friday — $20, Saturday — $25, full weekend — $40.
