40th Festival of Nations scheduled for July 19
GREENUP —
Greenbo Lake State Resort Park will host the 40th annual Festival of Nations presented by the International Folklanders on July 19.
The International Folklanders, a folk and ethnic dance troupe, will perform “Die Fledermaus,” a comic German operetta composed by Johann Strauss Jr. and adapted for the group by Carole Prietzel. The performances will feature dances from various nations by dancers in period costume.
Show time is 8 p.m. at the Greenbo Lake Amphitheatre. Admission is $5 per person, and children 12 and younger are admitted free.
Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
