Golf scramble to aid Pathways' prevention program

The second annual Pathways to Bright Futures golf scramble will be May 16 at Bellefonte Country Club Golf Course.
Registration will being at 10:30 a.m., followed by a cookout at 11 a.m. and the shotgun start at noon. The day includes 18 holes of golf with a cart and refreshments on the course. A hole-in-one on the 15th hole entitles the winner to a new Ford.
Raffle prizes will be awarded at the club house and teams will have the chance to be awarded first, second and third place. Skill prizes include Beat the Pro, Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive.
The cookout lunch will consist of hamburgers and hot dogs, salads and deserts.
Cost of the four-person scramble will be $125 per person or $500 per team.
The event will benefit ALERT, the prevention division of Pathways.
