Clinton, Obama like two peas in a pod.
Gas prices have surged. Gas is wasted by waiting long times at red lights. Gas could be saved by spending less times at lights.
If drivers would not buy gas on one of two days a week, it might wake up some of those responsible for the high prices.
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are like two peas in a pod. Obama has said he really didn’t know Jeremiah Wrioght after 20 years. Who is he trying to kid? Not me.
It is time people saw Obama for who is really is. He’s not fit to be president. Can’t we have somebody better running for president? It would be a mistake to have either Hillary Clinton or Obama as president. We can do better. It’s not because of their color or gender., but bcause of their beliefs and principles.

Sinnette will stand up for our rights
I thank Kevin Sinnette for all the hard work he has done over the years as Ashland's assistant city attorney. He has demonstrated time and again that it takes more than just a title to be a leader. It takes one who is willing to uphold the laws of his city and state, one who is willing to take a stand when rights are being trampled on, one who is willing to make his voice heard and to take action to protect the citizenry.
Kevin's vast knowledge of our rights and the laws in place to protect them sets him apart from the other candidates for state representative, 100th District. In the United States, we are all equal in the eyes of the law: Rich, poor, employer, employee, retired, working, disabled. Over the years, Kevin has stood up for us.

Clinton gave her support to war
Sen. Hillary Clinton said, “Actions speak louder that words.” Thus, she should be held accountable for her actions. She voted for the resolution authorizing the war in Iraq.
A woman in the White House would be great, but not Hillary Clinton who didn't have the intelligence and vision to see what the outcome of a war in Iraq would be.
Like Pontius Pilate, Hillary washes her hands and acts like she was fooled. If she’s so easily duped, why would we want her as president?
Senator Barack Obama facing re-election in the Illinois Senate gave a speech against the war and was elected. It wasn't a popular position, but he showed judgment , leadership and courage. He has shown that he has the wisdom and vision to lead this country in the right direction.

There’s no help
for those in need
I have tried for years to get my wife medical help. The Social Security Administration and the state agencies say there is no help out there. God help anyone who has a life-threatening illness. You are just out of luck.
If things were not already bad enough, Ashland has pulled my water meter. I am on a fixed income and just got out of the hospital. We have been doing without food, gas and other things, but water is a necessity.
We don’t have the right people in office. Just look around at the ghost town Ashland has become. People are losing their homes.
Some elected and appointed people are trying to do what’s right, but the ones who are not doing anything to help the middle class or the poor should step down and let someone else work for the people, not against us.
The local charities are trying, but they don’t have enough funds to help all the people who are in deep trouble.
Take a walk around town and check it out for yourself. There are a lot of people in trouble.
