The Gothard Family thanks everyone who has helped us recently.
A fire recently swept through our home destroying everything. This has been difficult for all of us, including our 18- year-old son Tyier who is a special needs young adult. Thanks to the help of several people and groups, our hard work has been simplified a little bit.
We send out a huge and heart-filled thanks to the Flatwoods, Russell and Raceland volunteer fire departments. We also thank the Flatwoods Police Department for being so kind to us and our son. Some other angels to us are Katie Barker, Dian Layman, Marie Perkins, Stephanie Barker, Russell's Special Ed., Beta Club, Partners in Pride, ROTC and some of our wonderful neighbors.
We also thank our family, friends and co-workers for their phone calls of concern and offers of help!

On behalf of the staff, students and volunteers at Morehead State Public Radio, we thank everyone who supported our recent on-air fundraiser.
Gifts from listeners helped us raise over $33,000, which will assist MSPR in the purchase of programming, equipment and supplies, as well as enhancing the learning environment for our MSU student staff. We especially thank the community volunteers who answered phones and welcomed guests, and the many regional businesses and community organizations for their gifts of support.
We value the support from our listeners which will help us continue to provide news, information and entertainment programs that are unique to this region.
Gifts to MSPR are still welcome with an online pledge form available on our website (www.msuradio.com). Listeners wishing to make a gift to MSPR can also call our offices at (606) 783-2001 or 1-800-286-9659.
